Rachel Eve Holmes
Rachel Eve Holmes, soprano, has a voice that “radiates power and confidence” (New York Concert Review, Carnegie Hall debut recital, February 2020). Holmes is an emerging operatic artist, having completed Young Artist Programs with the Russian Opera Workshop, Natchez Festival of Music, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Madison Early Music Festival, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Sherrill Milnes’ VOICExperience New York, La Musica Lirica (Italy), Intermezzo Festival (Belgium), Harrower Opera Workshop, Baldwin Wallace Art Song Festival, and Opera Fort Collins. Recent engagements include performances with the Utah Philharmonic, Arapahoe Philharmonic, Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra, Kenwood Symphony, Orchestra Noir, Peach State Opera, Capitol City Opera, Wilmington Concert Opera, Delaware Valley Opera Company, and Shakespeare Opera Theatre. Recent competition wins include the 2019 Utah Philharmonic Concerto Competition, 2018 Orchestra Noir Medallion Concerto Competition, the 2017 Ruth Kern Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra Competition, the 2016 Atlanta Music Clubs Competition, and the 2015 Roschel Vocal Competition.
