2022-2023 Season Auditions

 

Opera Huntsville is holding auditions for all voice types for various roles in our 2022-2023 season.

Roles are available for:

 

Die Fledermaus, Amahl and the Night Visitors,

Gala Fundraiser, Opera Bytes Digital and Live,

and Apprentice roles.

Scheduled auditions Date:

 

Saturday, May 28 beginning at 1pm by appointment

 

 

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

 

• 2 contrasting arias at least one in a foreign language

• Short monologue of your choosing

• Current resume

• Current headshot

• Current biography 

Location will be announced upon audition confirmation.

Honorariums are available for lead roles in all productions. Chorus and Apprentice roles are volunteer.

Opera Huntsville is dedicated to community growth by hiring 60% of local talent across each season. We open auditions to the public. We cannot guarantee production placement for every individual, however we gladly offer volunteer opportunities.
